Furniture Handler

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Handler to join our team at Affordable Mattress & Furniture. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials with care and precision.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.
- Product Movement: Move products and materials within the warehouse and to customer locations using manual or mechanical equipment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring products are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
- Installation and Securing: Install and secure products in customer locations, ensuring they are properly assembled and safely in place.
- Transportation and Distribution: Transport and distribute products and materials to customer locations, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
