Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Waterford in Tsawwassen. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, medical treatments, and documented procedures as per provincial regulations and facility policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to privacy standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Care and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and support Care Aides in providing personal care to residents, promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying current with best practices in long-term care.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered or Practical Nurse Program.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in long-term care, preferably in a similar setting.
