About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Ski Lift Operator to join our team at Dagmar Resort Ltd. As a key member of our winter sports operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ski lifts and other resort equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ski lifts and other resort equipment to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests
  • Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed
  • Provide instruction and assistance to guests on surface lift techniques and loading and unloading of chair lifts
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of guests with special needs
  • Operate radio and other communication equipment to communicate with staff members and respond to emergency situations
  • Assist guests on and off rides, and provide general assistance as needed
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Experience: Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and respond to emergency situations
