We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at IMPERIAL CONSTRUCTION AND RESTORATION INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile, mixing and applying adhesives, and setting tiles in place. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, measuring, and marking them.
  • Mix and apply adhesives to surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
  • Prepare and install tile strips.
  • Supervise other workers and instruct apprentices as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in tile setting.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to work with heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Commercial, industrial, and residential work sites.
  • Dusty and noisy work environment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
