SEO and Content Marketing Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO and Content Marketing Specialist to join our team at Bellesa, a fast-growing, woman-led company dedicated to changing the conversation around sexual wellness.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to contribute to our marketing efforts and help us continue to destigmatize pleasure and evoke real societal change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SEO Audits: Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify issues and opportunities for improvement, and develop actionable strategies based on audit findings.
  • Keyword Research: Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-value keywords and phrases that align with our business goals, using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
  • Campaign Setup: Plan, create, and manage effective SEO campaigns that align with overall business objectives and marketing goals.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, images, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
  • Content Strategy: Assist in developing and executing a content marketing strategy that drives organic traffic, engages our audience, and supports our brand mission.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging and SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, and landing pages, ensuring content aligns with SEO strategies and business goals.
  • Content Coordination: Work closely with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation, providing guidance on content optimization and keyword integration.
  • Link Building: Develop and execute a robust link-building strategy, identifying and building relationships with relevant websites and influencers to secure high-quality backlinks.
  • Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software, providing regular reports to management and suggesting improvements.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in SEO, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Excellent knowledge of keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
