We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Private Household. As a valued member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. You will also be expected to administer medications, perform light housekeeping duties, and provide companionship.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and serve nutritious meals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care. A Certificate of Conduct and First Aid Certification are essential requirements.

Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs). You will also be required to work in fast-paced environments and handle heavy loads.
