Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at EPCM. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing tile surfaces in commercial and residential buildings.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in tiling and possess excellent manual skills. You will work closely with our project managers to ensure that all tiling projects are completed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by measuring, cutting, and applying adhesives.
  • Install tiles using hand tools and power equipment.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in tiling and experience working with various types of tile materials.
  • Excellent manual skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
Working Conditions

You will work on a variety of construction sites, including commercial and residential buildings. You will be required to wear protective gear and follow safety protocols at all times.

Salary and Benefits
