We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. As a key member of our health care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that medical devices are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use.

**Job Summary:**

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for reprocessing medical devices, including surgical instruments and equipment, as well as performing related clerical duties and record-keeping tasks.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Reprocess medical devices, including surgical instruments and equipment, to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and sterility.
  • Perform routine cleaning and disinfection of medical devices and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of device reprocessing and maintenance activities.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., Sterile Supply Processing) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a similar role or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
