Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Streetsville Community. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our residents, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide resident supervision and assistance with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.
- Provide resident care and services, including communication support, medication administration, and mobility assistance.
- Support resident comfort and well-being, including cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, as well as oral and dental care.
Requirements
- Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution.
- Internationally educated nurses with a degree in nursing are also eligible.
- Detailed-oriented and proficient in procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatment and providing bedside care.
- Exercise tact and diplomacy in working with seniors, their families, and general visitors.
