About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our team at EMEC Design Group LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials to ensure quality and performance.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify designs.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects and develop detailed specifications.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design drawings and specifications.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs and supervise the operation of mechanical plants.
  • Monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with standards and schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and prepare design sketches and documentation packages.
Requirements
  • College diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field.
  • Minimum 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and design principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
