Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Western Forest Products. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy duty equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair heavy duty equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues using technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operation of equipment and facilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for equipment maintenance and repair.

Requirements:

  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
