Farm Hand Job Description

Farmaira is seeking a skilled and physically fit Farm Hand to join our team. As a Farm Hand, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to crop care and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to ensure optimal crop growth.
  • Clean crops and greenhouses to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure maximum yield.
  • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage and promote healthy growth.
  • Clean work areas to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality.
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
  • Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops.
Work Environment:

Farmaira operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Farm Hand, you will be required to work under pressure and meet physical demands of the job.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
