Job Description

Fraser Health is seeking a Senior Developer to lead the development and implementation of custom applications and no-code/low-code solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing senior consulting to Fraser Health within an assigned portfolio in custom coded applications.
  • Leading enterprise-wide application development projects, managing timelines, and resources.
  • Providing leadership to team members and facilitating change management strategies.
  • Coordinating the procurement and management of external services.
  • Providing guidance to assigned staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of seven years of related experience in a large complex organization. Strong technical skills, including knowledge of modern data platforms, C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, are essential. The successful candidate will also demonstrate leadership practices, including clear, caring, and courageous leadership.

Additionally, the candidate should have advanced knowledge of information management, business processes, technologies, and applications, as well as the ability to translate business needs into application architecture requirements. Strong diplomatic negotiation skills and the ability to manage the political climate of the organization are also required.
