Mathematics Tutor Wanted

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who loves working with adolescents. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of mathematics (Grades 1-5). As a Mathematics Tutor, you will contribute to the academic success and development of learning skills in numerous adolescents. You will also witness their confidence grow, making this a highly rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

  • CEGEP or Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 7-11 math curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus, and vectors
