Job Title: Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Director to join our team at Neova Tecnologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and overseeing the Quality Control and Quality Assurance departments in a Pharma and Food environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs and oversees the Quality Control and Quality Assurance departments.
  • Works directly with Senior Leadership to provide strategic insight into new product and channel development.
  • Coaches and leads current teams to upgrade skillset from food to pharmaceutical grade products and processes.
  • Evaluates production operations to ensure products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborates with management and senior staff to draft acceptable quality standards.
  • Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
  • Facilitates communication among production divisions and management.
  • Assesses test results and approves recommended changes.
  • Reviews quality control documentation for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Conducts random inspections and quality control checks.
  • Reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • Pharmaceutical QA/QC experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff.
  • Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies for food and pharmaceutical products.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related industrial, scientific, or business field required.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Eight to ten years of related experience required with at least five years as a quality engineer or similar role highly preferred.
