About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team at Themis Solutions Inc. as a key member of our engineering team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior developers and contribute to the development of technical strategies and roadmaps.
  2. Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Ruby on Rails.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure seamless delivery of software applications.
  4. Problem-Solving: Collaborate with teams to diagnose, understand, and solve complex technical problems.
  5. Code Review: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  6. Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically with building web applications at scale with Ruby on Rails.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, experience with Agile development methodologies, and strong understanding of software design patterns.
  3. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.
  4. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $141,100 to $190,900 CAD, depending on experience and skillset. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including top-tier health benefits, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a flexible time off policy and RRSP matching.
