Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective restaurant operations.
  • Team Leadership: Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and development opportunities, and lead by example to motivate and inspire your team.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, address complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and provide a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensure accurate ordering and stocking, and minimize waste and losses.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
