Occupational Therapist

Interior Health Authority is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Yorston Medical Clinic in Williams Lake, B.C. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the overall health and well-being of patients. Your work will be integral to addressing various needs and helping patients manage daily activities despite physical, mental, or cognitive challenges.
About the Role
This is a primary care position that offers a broad scope of practice, including rehabilitation from injuries, chronic disease management, mental health support, and assistance for aging-related challenges. You will provide patient assessment and evaluation, develop treatment plans, implement interventions, and provide education and training within a collaborative care environment. Your work will be focused on helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program, full practicing registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC), and practice-specific requirements and experience in programs applicable to practice area. You will also need to have a valid BC Driver's license where required.
