We are seeking a highly skilled Relaxation Therapist to join our team at Sointula Massage and Day Spa. As a key member of our spa, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality massage and facial treatments.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in administering massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain, and mobilizations. You will also be required to apply finger and hand pressure to specific points on the body, explain procedures and risks to clients, maintain records of treatments given, and suggest home care instructions.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, often standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks. Our ideal candidate is accurate, client-focused, efficient in interpersonal skills, and has excellent oral communication skills.

Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, you will receive commission, gratuities, free parking, and team building opportunities. We also offer flexible hours with 25-40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Experience as a spa therapist or related field an asset
  • Certifications such as Facial Treatment Specialist, Master Aesthetician, or Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage
