**Job Summary**

Pinchin Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in the British Columbia Region. As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical engineering evaluations, scheduling assessments, and preparing contract documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform geotechnical engineering evaluations, including soil and bedrock engineering design, slope stability analysis, earth retention systems, excavation, dewatering, and shoring.
  • Schedule assessments and meetings with clients and contractors.
  • Assign work to field staff as appropriate, depending on workloads and in conjunction with senior managers.
  • Prepare contract documents, proposals, and reports.
  • Meet with clients to determine project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams across the company to provide geotechnical support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • University degree in geotechnical, civil, or geological engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in consulting engineering or construction.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for preparing geotechnical engineering reports and letters.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle (work-related travel expenses will be compensated).
