Agricultural Equipment Diagnostic Specialist

Nelson Motors & Equipment, a family-owned John Deere dealership, is seeking an experienced Agricultural Diagnostic Mechanic Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Service department, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing complex problems and providing expert support for repair.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose equipment problems and provide solutions.
- Centralized Resource: Serve as a centralized resource for the Service team, providing expert support and guidance on complex issues.
- Training and Development: Share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving.
- Technical Skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and systems, including Microsoft Sharepoint, Teams, and other MS 365 tools.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Service or Parts department operations, with a strong background in agriculture equipment repair.
- Certifications: Completed a certified trade, such as Agriculture Equipment Technician or Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic, with John Deere certification being a strong asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Sharepoint, Teams, and other MS 365 tools, as well as experience with Service ADVISORTM, Parts ADVISORTM, or other computer-based diagnostic repair tools.
- Education: Valid driver's license and license for shop and yard equipment.
