Austin Roofing & Waterproofing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Roofing Technician to join their team for a permanent and full-time position.

Job Overview:

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for addressing areas on the roof that require attention, including cleaning and maintaining roofing drains/eavestrough systems.
  • They will also install seam tape applied areas on roofs, work with fellow coworkers and general labourers to complete tasks, and follow product installation guidelines.
  • Additionally, they will ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner while adhering to applicable Ontario safety regulations.

Terms of Employment:

  • This is a permanent and full-time position.
  • The language of work is English.
  • The estimated salary for this role is $28.39 per hour.

Requirements:

  • Working at Heights certification.
  • Ontario Safety Regulations, Fall Arrest, Fall Protection qualifications.
  • Completion of Secondary School is preferred.
  • Substantial relevant work experience.
  • Substantial experience working at heights.
  • Service work.
  • Safety training.
  • Training through product installment.
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness.
  • Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Proficient at working either alone or as part of a team.

This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques and a commitment to safety protocols. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality results and meet project deadlines.
