We are a dynamic and growing company seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Job Summary
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $62,000 - $72,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness;
- Perform account reconciliations and research any discrepancies or variances;
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to management;
- Analyze financial data and identify trends and areas for improvement;
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience;
- At least 1 year of experience in a financial accounting role, preferably in a similar industry;
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
