Job Summary

As a Dining Room Server at Aspira Yorkton Crossing Retirement Living, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional hospitality to our residents. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality dining service, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and exceeding our residents' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional dining service to residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation under the direction of the Chef.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Promote and track a la carte and wine service sales, following prescribed procedures.
  • Participate in emergency drills and education sessions to ensure preparedness.
Requirements
  • Hold a Serve It Right Certificate and possess one year of experience in dining room service.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Safe Food Handling Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process is an asset.
  • Proven customer service skills to work with residents of various cultural backgrounds.
