Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at K&M Windows And Doors. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the smooth execution of projects, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and structures, ensuring a safe and controlled environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to lift heavy loads, work at heights, and perform tasks that require attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
