About the Role:

The Cloud Security team at Robinhood is responsible for protecting the company's AWS cloud infrastructure and providing engineers with foundational security capabilities. As a Staff Cloud Security Engineer, you will be part of a team that owns the security posture for cloud infrastructure on which all Robinhood products are built.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain security controls and automation to protect foundational infrastructure and make it easier for Robinhood developers to protect their applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats to ensure the security posture of Robinhood's cloud infrastructure remains robust.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in securing enterprise applications on AWS.
  • Proficiency in Golang or Python and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Strong command of industry best practices like the AWS Well-Architected framework and CIS Benchmarks.
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS security services like Identity & Access Management (IAM), Service Control Policies (SCPs), AWS WAF, and AWS Network Firewall.
