At ONTARIO INC., we are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, and providing guidance and support to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, including financial statements and other relevant data.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
