About the Role

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking an experienced ETL Data Integration Specialist to assist in the implementation of data and multiple application integrations within the FME environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement data integration workflows in FME (Safe Software) to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data mappings and integrations to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and resolve data integration issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data integration and FME development.

Requirements

  • University Degree or Masters in Computing Science or equivalent.
  • 5 years' experience in SQL Server database application development, including Transact-SQL and stored procedure development.
  • 5 years' experience in understanding business goals and translating them into technical requirements.
  • 2 years' progressive experience in creating new mappings and data integration workflows in FME (Safe Software).
  • 5 years' progressive experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Data Warehousing and Data Mart business reporting solutions.
  • Ability to pass enhanced security clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FME Certification.
  • Business Intelligence related certifications.
  • Experience with report preparation, technical application manuals, software operations, and maintenance documentation.
  • Experience working with a Police or Public Safety organization.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work arrangement with 6 months of contract work with optional extensions.
  • Negotiable hourly rate.
