Course Overview:
This course provides a practical introduction to risk analysis and assessment procedures as applied in business, government, and civil society. Students will gain a broad array of inter-related, transferable, problem-solving, assessment, and analytical skills centered on assessment methodologies typically associated with climate change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of lectures and course materials
- Lecturing and teaching the course
- Creation and administration of exams, term tests, and assignments
- Marking and marks management
- Management of Quercus and supervision of TA(s)
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant discipline such as Geography, Forestry, Environmental Studies, or Management Science
- At least four years of relevant experience
- Ability to teach the course and implement assessment methodologies
