Job Title: Casual Meal Program Worker - Fraser Lake

We are seeking a Casual Meal Program Worker to join our team at School District 91 (Nechako Lakes) in Fraser Lake. As a Casual Meal Program Worker, you will contribute to the daily functions of our Meal Program, ensuring the highest quality food service to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and serving food, maintaining food safety, and supporting students in food preparation and serving.
  • Perform cooking and food preparation tasks using various kitchen equipment.
  • Support the daily logistics of the Meal Program, including ordering groceries and coordinating lunch orders.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
  • A current Food Safe Level 1 certificate, or equivalent
  • BC driver's license - Class 2 Full Privileged with air endorsement and an exemplary driving record/current driver's abstract
  • 6 months of current relevant experience working in a catering/commercial kitchen environment
  • WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
