We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Lifemark. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to their overall well-being.
About the RoleAs a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to clients, including manual manipulation of soft tissues to promote relaxation, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve range of motion. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
Responsibilities- Provide hands-on massage therapy services to clients, using a variety of techniques to address musculoskeletal issues and promote relaxation.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that address the specific needs of each client.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
- Document client interactions and treatment plans using electronic charting software.
- Manage a caseload of clients in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines as needed.
- Registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) in good standing.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting, with a focus on treating clients with musculoskeletal issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
