Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Onyx Automotive Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, confirming findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace units, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods
