Job Summary

Wings Freightway Inc. is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, and transport and handle dangerous goods.
  • Documentation: Process bills of lading, cargo manifests, and other documents.
  • Communication: Communicate with passengers, dispatchers, and other drivers using two-way radio systems.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
