Heavy Duty Mechanic: Diesel Engine and Equipment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Agwerx Mechanical Ltd.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position, requiring 40-70 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have no degree, certificate, or diploma but must have at least 2 years of experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
- Service attachments and working tools.
- Verify and repair emission control systems.
- Perform other routine maintenance.
- Fuel injection system.
- Exhaust system.
- Cooling system.
- Air conditioning system.
- Lubrication system.
- Engine control system.
- Major internal engine repairs or overhaul.
- Installation and alignment of engines and machinery.
- Hydraulic-operated working attachments.
- Pumps.
- Mechanical transmissions.
- Drive trains and final drives.
- Hydraulic transmissions.
- Power take-offs.
- Wheel-mounted vehicle suspension and steering.
- Differentials.
- Brake system.
