Inside Sales Associate

Nedco, a leading electrical industry player, is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Associate to join its team in Chatham. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing orders, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service via phone and email, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Process orders, inquiries, and quotations with precision and accuracy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering a culture of loyalty and trust.
  • Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as needed, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Make follow-up calls to customers on quotations, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries.
  • Make a minimum of four outbound calls per day to solicit additional business, driving revenue growth.
  • Assist customers with e-commerce inquiries, providing expert guidance and support.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of inside sales or customer service experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including AS400 experience (an asset).
  • Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered an advantage.
  • Product knowledge of the electrical business is essential.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Experience in the electrical industry preferred.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50lbs.
