Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Buildgreen Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters, cabinetmakers, and trades helpers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and submit production reports to management, highlighting project progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, to management.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, ensuring accurate construction and installation of materials.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, managing inventory and minimizing delays.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in residential construction or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a reputable construction company.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing project demands.
