Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our lab team as a lead technician. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and providing technical assistance to a section within the lab.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical laboratory technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide technical assistance to a section within the lab
  • Develop and implement quality control programs
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program
  • Minimum three years recent related work experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience an asset
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced laboratory environment, rotating through various workstations as needed, and participating in standby and callback duty.

A satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check are conditions of employment.
