Job Summary:

The Hairstyling Salon Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of professionalism among our staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Establish and implement policies and procedures for staff, plan and control budget and inventory, manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies, and hire, train, and supervise staff.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player skills.
  • Support for Diversity: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youths, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
