Voyago is seeking a skilled Payroll Assistant to join our team in London, Ontario.

Your Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely processing of payroll and providing payroll support to all Operational divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, verify, and process all i-weekly employee payroll related payments, including regular pay, retroactive adjustments, benefit payments, and special payments
  • Identify and resolve any payroll discrepancies, manage payroll records and ADP Workforce Now system information
  • Prepares statutory forms such as T4, T4(A), ROE, and address Service Canada inquiries
  • All other duties/projects as assigned

Requirements

Your Role

  • Minimum 1-2 years' direct Payroll experience in a mid-to-large-sized organization
  • A post-secondary diploma in Payroll Administration or Accounting or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Payroll Compliance Legislation and the Ontario Employment Standards Act
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred
  • Advanced software knowledge and application such as Microsoft Office, HRIS, and web-based applications
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to function effectively within a team and collaborate well with staff, colleagues, and managers
  • Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data, strong organizational skills, demonstrated attention to detail
  • A clear Criminal Record Check
