Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic professional to work in a dynamic environment, providing guidance, support, and resources to clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports and case histories to track client progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct social research to better understand the needs of our clients and develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Implement life skills workshops and provide education on healthy coping mechanisms and addiction recovery.
  • Assess clients' needs and eligibility for specific services, ensuring they receive the support they require.
  • Liaise with clients' families and community contacts to provide a comprehensive support network.
  • Develop and coordinate the delivery of services within the community, working closely with local organizations and stakeholders.
  • Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
  • Resolve conflict situations and assist clients with special needs, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
  • Certifications in Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification, Developmental Services Worker (DSW) Training, Intensive Behavioural Intervention Certification, and Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) Training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of addiction and substance abuse, with the ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.
