Position Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Beneficiary Attendant at Cogir Immobilier.

About the Role:

The Villa Saguenay residence is currently looking for one or more Beneficiary Attendants who share our commitment to excellence and our passion for serving others.

  • Part-time schedule available during the day or evening, with occasional full-time opportunities.
  • Diploma recognized by a government body required, along with 16-hour CPR certification and PDSB training.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and accompanying residents in their daily activities, adhering to standards and regulations, and contributing to the adjustment of resident action plans based on observations.

  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies.
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around.
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a resident's action plan based on their observations.
  • In collaboration with different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity.
  • Proactively assist and support residents.
  • Respond to all emergency situations.
  • Report any noticeable changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

Qualifications:

1 year of relevant experience is considered an asset, but not required. The successful candidate will hold a PAB diploma issued by a government body and up-to-date CPR/AED training certificates.
