About the Role

This permanent, full-time position reports to the Director, Maintenance, and is responsible for leading the YVR electrical trades team and contractors. You will be accountable for ensuring facilities and infrastructure are functioning safely and efficiently.


Key Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with P.Eng (Electrical) preferred, or an Electrical Technologist diploma, or an Electrical Certification of Qualification (Red Seal).
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in engineering, design, commissioning, maintenance, or manufacturing, including 5 years of recent experience in large and complex work environments.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience managing teams, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Field Safety Representative (FSR) - B is mandatory, with the eventual goal of obtaining FSR - A.
