Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Distribution Stox. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering tires and merchandise to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tires and merchandise from our warehouse to customers across the region.
  • Complete a daily inspection report of the truck before departure to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
  • Load and unload tires and merchandise from the truck to and from customers' locations.
  • Unload tires manually at customers' locations and inspect them with the customer to ensure they are in good condition.
  • Respect the order of deliveries to optimize the route of the day and ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle all delivery work orders and communicate with customers to resolve any issues.
  • Pick up tires at customers' locations and assist with other related warehouse work, such as loading and unloading trucks and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid G Class license.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience as a driver.
  • Be in excellent physical shape and able to lift heavy loads.
  • Have a good driving record.
  • Have a very good knowledge of the region.
  • Previous delivery experience is an asset.
  • Previous experience driving a cube van is an asset.
