Job Summary:

The School District #91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to fill a relief position in our childcare program. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging educational activities for students in a before or after school program setting
  • Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and successful program
  • Assist with daily operations of the before or after school program, including planning, preparation, and implementation

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in a before or after school program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve program goals and objectives
