About the TeamThe Human Resources Team at Nexii is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture by supporting employees, promoting engagement, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices. This team member will work closely with leadership and employees to develop and implement strategies that attract, retain, and develop top talent in the manufacturing and construction industries.
Job Description & Responsibilities- Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent; collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent acquisition needs; source and screen candidates, conduct interviews, and make recommendations for hire to support Nexii's growth and expansion.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to improve employee satisfaction and retention; develop and administer employee benefits programs, including health and dental, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Compliance and Performance Management: Ensure compliance with Canadian and US employment laws, including employment standards, health and safety, and labour laws; develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; develop and implement performance management processes to evaluate employee performance and identify areas for development.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, as well as 5+ years of experience in HR, including talent acquisition. Proven experience in an HR role in the manufacturing industry is essential, along with familiarity with Canadian and US employment laws.
