Job Summary:

Rocky Mountain Equipment is seeking a skilled Regional Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the effective repair of agriculture machinery and components at high levels of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recondition and repair all agriculture equipment components and systems as assigned by the allocated branch shop foreman/manager within the branch.
  • Maintain good and timely working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs.
  • Maintain and care for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Communicate with others, internally and externally, professionally.
  • Assist local branches within the region as required, depending on local branch leadership structure.
  • Order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs utilizing local parts departments.
  • Maintain all work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Maintain an exceptional high level of customer and branch satisfaction.
  • Work with regional management to identify and mitigate challenges and areas for improvement in the local area and build customer base and trust.
  • Travel to non-home branch locations as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Understanding of the agriculture and/or construction industry.
  • Understanding and demonstrated use of health and safety best practices.
  • Knowledge of Case IH, Case CE, and New Holland Equipment is an asset.
