Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our housekeeping team as a Room Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Clean and Attractive Guestrooms - Make beds, change linens, clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to meet or exceed hotel standards.
  • Focus on Details - Ensure windows are shining, towels are folded correctly, supplies are restocked, closets are neat and clean with the right amount of hangers, etc.
  • Be Organized - Ensure your housekeeping closet and cart area are ready to go.
  • Be a Team Player - Help your coworkers by pitching in, training new staff, and participating in department events.
  • Be a Housekeeping Ambassador - Share a warm greeting and a smile with all guests you encounter.
  • Be a Safety & Security Agent - Follow hotel safety and security policies and procedures, and anticipate problems by calling management as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need basic English communication skills, medium work exertion, and the ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.

Additional Job Details

This is a medium work position that requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly. You will also need to be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels, and have near vision to see details at close range.
