Job Summary

The Internal Controls Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls across various business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field, as well as experience with internal controls and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement effective internal controls to prevent and detect errors and irregularities.
  • Conduct regular reviews of internal controls to ensure they are operating effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with process owners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as CICA or IIA are an asset.
