We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Optimum Truck Lines Ltd. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transactions: Prepare and process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Systems: Maintain and update accounting systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Communication: Communicate financial information to management and other stakeholders.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, and internet skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, and large workload.
- Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, accurate, quick learner, and resourceful.
