We are seeking an experienced Signaling Design Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid). The successful candidate will have a strong background in railway systems engineering and experience in designing, analysing, modelling, and simulating communication-based train control systems.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing and developing signalling systems that meet customer requirements.
- Analyzing and evaluating design options to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Providing training and support to colleagues on signalling design principles.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the development of software-based system applications.
- Strong application (automated train control systems) domain knowledge.
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
